Information and Process
SSS students who actively participate in our program and courses might be eligible to apply for an SSS Participation Grant. Below are the basic requirements. See your SSS advisor for more information.
- Currently enrolled at UT as a full-time student (at least 12 credit hours) and enrolled in either SSC 2002: Becoming OR SSC 2003: Gear Up for Greatness
- Successful completion of SSC 2001: Smart Start
- Receiving a Pell Grant (FAFSA)
- Spring applicants must document a FAFSA application for next academic year
- Have updated your 2-year graduation plan (associate’s degree)
- Meet GPA (2.5 minimum) and minimum earned credit requirements
- Actively participate in SSS program (SSS advisor meetings, Mid-Semester Grade Checks, TRiO group activities)
